Meta is Hiring an Animation Director Near New York, NY
Animation Director Responsibilities:- Create and push the craft of real-time and pre-rendered character performance.
- Lead the animation pipeline for prototyping and visualization.
- Help design animation systems at scale using the latest technology.
- Collaborate with the creative team to pre-visualize and produce industry leading animation for a variety of platforms.
- Work with cross-functional teams to advance animation with mocap, retargeting and tracking systems.
- Give feedback and direction to vendors for animated content.
Minimum Qualifications:- 7 Years of experience creating industry leading animation for games or real-time applications
- Experience working with Body and Facial Motion Capture for animation creation.
- Experience to author realistic and stylized motions.
- Experience creating interactive animation systems.(eg. gameplay locomotion sets, state machines, animation blueprints).
- Have worked and shipped an entire real-time production cycle (eg. AAA games).
- Proficiency in Maya.
- Proficiency in Unity or Unreal.
- Have proven communication skills, experience receiving and offering feedback.
- Independent and self managed while working collaboratively with a team.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in motion synthesis with AI.
- Experience with facial and body tracking technologies.
- Proficiency in Motion Graphics production in After Effects.
- Proficiency in Motion Capture Animation in MotionBuilder.
- Proficiency in UE5 and Control Rig toolset.
